Material	Most Common Uses
MI 22A Gravel (MDOT)	Common uses for this material is a base layer to support asphalt or concrete paving.
MI 23A Gravel (MDOT)	Common uses are road surfacing applications were the material will not be protected by pavement, typically gravel roads and road shoulders.
MDOT Class II Sand	Product meets MDOT specification for sub base material. Most commonly, this product is used as fill material and compacted to produce a stable grade for placement of structures and pavement systems
MDOT 2NS	The most common use in the production of portland cement concrete and asphalt pavements.
1" x ¾" Commercial Gravel	This is a crushed gravel product with 98% of the product is larger than ½”. The percent crushed is 93% providing a very stable and durable surface with excellent drainage.
3/8" Washed Pea Gravel	Most commonly used in concrete production and fill areas that require good drainage.
5/8" Washed 6A Commercial Gravel	Common uses for this product are concrete production and fill materials that require good drainage.
6A Washed Commercial Gravel	Commonly used in concrete production as well as drainage applications.
20AA	This is a dense graded crushed aggregate that is primarily used in the production of asphalt.
MDOT 4G Gravel	Commonly used as a road base material. The product provides a stable base and superior permeability.
ASTM #467	Most commonly used for fill material where excellent drainage is required.
22A Commercial Crushed Concrete	Most common applications are for aggregate surface areas that require good stability.
MDOT 21AA Modified Crushed Concrete	Most commonly used on state projects were stability and drainage are concerns.
4G Modified Crushed Concrete	Mostly used on state projects were stability and drainage are concerns.
6AA Limestone	Mostly used in concrete production.
17A Limestone	Mostly used in concrete production.
1" x 3" Limestone	This product is primarily used for landscaping.
MDOT 21AA Limestone	The primary uses for this product are aggregate base applications were drainage is a concern.
